We may live in the country but we are not as country as it may sound. I have enjoyed working on the camper and I cannot wait to hear how the first few festivals turn out.

I suppose one would shoot other people with the gun, or use it for intimidation. I think we've come to the conclusion however that we will not be taking a gun. Instead, I'm going to sew a giant peace sign flag with rainbow colors! Wait, then people might mistake us for gay lovers and then really shoot us.

I am siding with you - i dont think a gun is necessary for the trip. It's my belief that carrying a weapon will lead to thinking of it as an answer to a problem, when their might be other avenues to avoiding a problem. I rough camped all thru america and europe, making sure to avoid potentially dangerous places, but never did i feel that a weapon was necessary.
